The Nebula assistant: memory, your monthly allowance, and the reset
How the chat in the corner remembers, what it can and cannot do, and what happens when a month is used up.
It remembers
The Nebula chat in the bottom corner of your dashboard keeps your conversation. Close the tab, come back next week, open it on your phone: it is all still there.
Each person has their own conversations. If you run an agency with team members, nobody sees anyone else's chat, including you.
When a conversation gets long, Nebula condenses the older messages into a short recap and keeps the recent ones word for word. You will see a line in the thread that says the earlier conversation was summarized. Nothing you decided or asked is dropped from the recap.
Your monthly allowance
Every account gets a monthly allowance of assistant use. The circle at the top of the chat shows how much of it you have used. Click the circle for the details: the percentage, the day it resets, and how full the current conversation is.
Short, everyday questions use a little of it. Long questions, long pastes, and questions that need real thinking about your own numbers use more. There is no limit on how fast you use it: the month is yours to spend as you like.
The allowance resets when your monthly payment goes through, the same day your rank audit runs. If a payment fails, nothing resets until it is sorted out.
When the month is used up
Once the circle is full, Nebula stops answering until the reset. You will see a plain message saying so, with the reset date. Talk to a human still works.
If you want to keep going, a one-time reset for $10 appears at that point, and only at that point. It charges the card on file and restores your full allowance for the rest of the month. You can use it again if you run out again.
Getting a better answer
Nebula decides how much thinking each question needs. If an answer feels thin, click "Think harder about this" under it, or just tell Nebula it is wrong. It will take another, deeper pass at the same question.
Start a new chat any time from the circle. Your old conversation is kept.
Quick questions
Does the allowance reset on the first of the month?
No. It resets when your monthly payment is confirmed, so it lines up with your billing date and your rank audit rather than the calendar.
Can I buy the reset before I run out?
No. It only appears once the month is fully used, so you are never sold something you do not need yet.
Does an agency share one allowance?
Yes. One allowance covers the whole account, and every team member draws from it. Conversations stay private to each person.
How long are conversations kept?
For as long as your account exists. They are deleted when the account is deleted.
