Connect your AI assistant to NebulaSEO
Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your locations, and have it draft the work for your approval.
What it is
The connector lets an AI assistant you already use read your NebulaSEO account. You ask a question in plain words, and the assistant answers from your real numbers instead of guessing: your profiles, your reviews, your rank maps, your website and traffic figures, your compliance status, and whatever is sitting in your approval queues.
It can also write, and everything it writes is a draft. A Google post, a reply to a review, an email to a client, a proposed change to a listing, or a page on a website you built here. Each one lands in the same queue you already approve from.
Connecting it
You need one address: https://www.nebulaseo.com/api/mcp
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector, and paste that address. In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http nebulaseo https://www.nebulaseo.com/api/mcp and then type /mcp to finish signing in. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the same address.
Whichever one you use, the sign-in happens on our screen, not theirs. The assistant never sees your NebulaSEO password. Read that screen before you press Connect: it names the address your sign-in is about to be sent to. If that is not the assistant you are actually connecting from, press Cancel.
That screen also has a second choice under the button: connect read-only, with no drafting. A read-only connection can read everything described here and has no drafting tools at all, so there is nothing for it to put in your queues. Pick it if you only want answers. You can reconnect later with drafting on.
Three things to ask it
Show me the rank map for my Denver client. You get the heatmap itself in the chat, drawn from that location’s most recent scan, with the keyword, the average map rank, how much of the map sits in the top three, and the date it was measured.
Which reviews have not been answered for this client, and draft replies. It lists the recent reviews with their star ratings and their text, then parks a draft reply on each one. Nothing posts to Google. Anything three stars or lower still waits for you, the same as it always has.
What is waiting on me across all my clients. You get the count of posts, review replies, listing changes, and client emails sitting in your queues, with where each queue lives in the dashboard.
Nothing publishes, nothing sends
The assistant cannot publish a post, send an email, answer a review, or change a Google listing. Every one of those is a draft you approve, edit, or bin in the dashboard, exactly like the drafts Nebula writes on its own.
It cannot start a rank scan, a website audit, an AI visibility check, or a citation scan either. Those run on their own schedule, or you start one yourself in the dashboard, and the assistant reads the most recent result. If a location has never had one, it says so plainly instead of pretending.
It only ever sees your account, and inside it only the locations on an active subscription.
If it says you have no locations
That is an answer, not a broken connection. It means the account you signed in with has no location on an active subscription right now.
Three usual causes: you signed in with a different NebulaSEO account than the one your locations live under, a location is paused because a payment did not go through, or a location is still being set up. Check which account you are in and that the location is active, then ask again. There is nothing to reconnect.
Disconnecting
You disconnect from the assistant, in the same settings screen where you added it. That is where you turn it off, and removing it there takes the key out of the assistant’s hands.
Sign out all other devices in your NebulaSEO settings is a different control. It signs out the browsers and phones you have logged in on. Do not use it to end an AI connection.
Access is short-lived either way. The key an assistant holds is good for an hour at a time and has to be renewed against our servers, and a connection nobody uses for a month stops working on its own. Reconnecting is the same three steps as the first time.
We also end a connection ourselves if its renewal key is ever presented twice, because that is what a copied key looks like and the real assistant would have moved on to the new one. That ends only the connection it happened on. Your other assistants, your logins, and your data are untouched, and you reconnect the same way you did the first time.
Quick questions
Can it see my other clients, or another agency’s?
It sees the locations in the NebulaSEO account you signed in with, and only the ones on an active subscription. It cannot reach another account, and it will not accept a location id that is not yours.
What if someone writes instructions to my AI inside a Google review?
It happens, and we plan for it. Anything written by the public, review text and reviewer names included, is labeled as such before your assistant sees it, marked as evidence and never as instructions. If a piece of it is shaped like a command, that gets flagged too. You still see exactly what the person wrote; your assistant just will not act on it. Nothing written by a stranger can cause a change to a name, address, phone number, website, or set of hours.
Do I still approve things the same way?
Yes. A post drafted by your assistant sits in Automation, then Queue. A review reply waits on the Reviews tab. A listing change waits in your location settings with the current value shown beside the proposed one. A client email waits in the Inbox under Drafts. Same screens, same buttons.
